An Économusée is an artisan trade operation, which has been selected because of its commitment to quality and authenticity. The artisan business owner makes a living by supplying contemporary products created according to traditional methods and techniques, as well as by offering visitors a patented cultural tourism experience. The beating heart of the Économusée is the artisan's workshop. This is where you can see the evolution of craft in action! At Oleana, we invite you to an eventful journey through the factory following the production process from yarn to finished product.
The Économusée concept is developed in Quebec and with members in Canada and several Northern European countries, the Économusée network is made up of artisan companies that are interested in conserving and passing on traditional skills to future generations.
