Helene Myhre + Oleana = Moo Knit
We are excited to introduce Moo Knit – a brand-new Norwegian clothing label that blends tradition with innovation. Created by Helene Myhre, also known as Helenemoo, Moo Knit celebrates Norway’s nature, knitting traditions, and the unique qualities of wool. With a strong focus on quality and sustainability, Moo Knit aims to change the way we think about fashion.
Natural fibres in focus
Moo Knit uses natural fibres and the finest wool to showcase the best of what nature has to offer. Wool is not just natural and practical; it is also timeless, self-cleaning, and incredibly durable. “Wool is an amazing material. It’s timeless, functional, and a better choice for the planet. By producing in Norway, we support local industries and prove that it’s possible to create high-quality clothing here at home,” says Gerda Sørhus Fuglerud, owner and CEO of Oleana.
Design that lasts
Moo Knit is all about creating clothes that last – in both style and quality. The collection includes timeless garments made from natural materials, with wool as the main ingredient. Customers can choose between ready-made clothes or knitting kits, giving them the chance to build their wardrobe in a personal and eco-friendly way. This is a new approach to reducing overproduction while giving people more ownership of their clothes.
A partnership for the future
Moo Knit is a collaboration between Helene Myhre and Oleana, a leader in Norwegian wool production. By combining Oleana’s long experience in textiles with Helene Myhre’s fresh vision for modern knitting, they have created something truly special. “The goal of Moo Knit is to offer clothes that last, feel good to wear, and help reduce overproduction in the fashion industry,” says Helene. “We want to inspire people to make more sustainable choices without compromising on quality or design.”
Made in Norway – Outstanding quality
All garments are made in Norway in close cooperation with Oleana. This ensures high quality and supports the local industry. To avoid waste and overstock, Moo Knit uses modern technology and a pre-order model. This means clothes are only made when needed, which is both environmentally friendly and innovative.
A sustainable vision
Moo Knitw is more than just a clothing brand. It’s an initiative to challenge traditional shopping habits and promote long-term choices in the fashion world. With timeless designs, natural materials, and transparency in their production, Moo Knit is setting a new standard for what we can expect from fashion.
Launching in autumn 2025
Moo Knit will be available for pre-order in autumn 2025. Whether you choose ready-made garments or knitting kits, Moo Knit offers something truly special – beautiful, functional, and durable pieces that combine tradition with modern design.
Stay tuned for this exciting journey and be among the first to discover Moo Knit – a tribute to wool, Norwegian production, quality, and sustainability.
