The Fern scarf is a single-colour scarf with a tactile surface, knitted with large organic forms that create depth and movement. The expression is subtle yet distinctive, appearing almost abstract at first glance. Knitted in 100% merino wool, it feels soft and comfortable against the skin, and works equally well worn as a scarf or draped over the shoulders as a shawl.

The scarf is inspired by the ferns that flourish in the gardens of Rosendal, by the Hardangerfjord. Their swirling forms and rhythmic structures are echoed in the Barony’s interiors, where similar motifs appear in spontaneous, confident brushstrokes, recalling both fern shapes and the freer spirit of traditional rosemaling.
